DocAuto Continues to Grow
DocAuto is in the midst of almost doubling our office space at our headquarters in Atlanta to support our expanded development, support, and professional services departments. Despite the current economic climate, our business continues to be strong worldwide, probably because of the great efficiencies and rapid return on investment our products provide. We are looking to add significant new functionality to our popular OutiM Server product in the coming weeks to adapt to the huge number of enhancement requests we have received from our growing customer base on this product. All of our products have now been ported to the WorkSite 8.5 platform as well, which is producing additional opportunities for powerful new functionality. In addition to the changes to OutiM Server, we also plan to have major new enhancements to WorkSpace Manager as well by first quarter 2010.
All of our product development is driven by feedback and requests we get from you, our customers and partners. This is the motivation behind our new company tag line, “Functionality is a Function of You™”, which reflects our main reason for being -- to provide the solutions you need quickly and efficiently, and to provide the power and flexibility within the products to allow for their application to a continuously changing business environment.

ILTA Conference 2009 Recap
While
member attendance at last month’s ILTA Conference in Washington DC was lower than in previous years, it afforded us more quality time with the attendees. We also debuted our new display booth, marketing materials, and what became one of the hottest booth giveaways at ILTA – our 2 GB USB keys in the shape of our new DocAuto “character.” This character is featured in our new marketing materials and made for a cool, yet functional, giveaway. Watch for more information about a contest we will have soon to “name that character.”

OutiM Server 3.0.19
Many enhancements have been made recently to OutiM Server. These enhancements include the ability to use pattern matching in Subject and Content filters, now with support for a broader set of wildcards. Wildcard matching is useful for assuring compliance with HIPAA and other personal information compliance statutes. These wildcards can also now be used in searching for Folders in WorkSite (in addition to WorkSpaces, which has always been supported) in order to dynamically determine e-mail filing destinations.
WorkSite Exporter 3.5.6
The latest release of WorkSite Exporter includes the ability to filter documents during an export operation in order to export only those documents that meet certain criteria. This criteria includes all available profile fields in WorkSite,
including the ability to filter on the
descriptive information of validated lookup fields. Filters support a variety of different operators, including CONTAINS, IN a list of values, and date range values. Multiple filters may be combined using logical OR or AND logic as well.
Watchdog Server 1.5.18
Watchdog Server has been updated to add support for monitoring new history events for newer versions of WorkSite, such as Undeclare, Close, Edit Time, Not Logged, Remove from Folder, and Folder Deleted. Remove from Folder will track events when a document is removed from a WorkSite folder (either a WorkSpace folder or a legacy folder). Folder Deleted will track events when a folder that contains documents is deleted but the documents within the folder are not deleted.

Troubleshooting Guides Now Available
We have created Troubleshooting Guides for all of our core products. These guides are used to assist in correcting common issues encountered while using DocAuto products. The Troubleshooting Guides can be found on the individual product pages of the DocAuto website, as well as in the
Library section of our Support
page on our website.
Tips & Tricks: OutiM Server - Setting Filter Priority and Logic
OutiM Server E-Mail Filters can now be reordered to improve processing speed, and can be linked between different types of filters to create the effect of Boolean AND or OR logic between filters. For example, Subject filters can be made to be processed first, to Skip messages that contain [SPAM] or other undesirable text in the subject line. Messages that pass this filter can be forced to include specific address or domain information, in addition to specific subject, body, or category information. These filters can be combined with the date range filters (that now include automatic options for filtering based on the last time an OutiM Server job has run for maximum efficiency) and the new Read and/or Unread status filters, flag, attachment, and class filters which have been part of the product for some time.
