Exciting Changes Ahead

Now that the dust has almost settled from our moving into our new, expanded space, we're looking at expanding our product offerings in many ways whether it’s in the depth of functionality in our existing products, adding new modules to our existing products (available as separate products as part of a broader product suite), or developing entirely new products. Much of what we're currently working on and planning for future releases involves our core products where we have deep strengths: matter-centric architecture management, e-mail management, and refiling and security management. Look for additional functionality in our "server-side" products: WorkSpace Manager, OutiM Server, Refiling Server, and Watchdog Server, but also new components and functionality for the client-side.

We're very excited about the new functionality in the WorkSite 8.5 APIs, and will continue to add support for these functions in the coming weeks and months. We also look to expand into working with, supporting, and extending other products in the larger Autonomy family of products. As always, we encourage our customers and partners to communicate with us to help us drive and prioritize these demands. After all, Functionality is a Function of You!

DocAuto Invites Customers, Partners, and Others to Add Character to Our New Character

DocAuto Character The ILTA Conference marked the debut of a new and significantly different message on behalf of our company, products, and services. We added the motto “Functionality is a Function of You” to our proud logo, and introduced a brand new character to illustrate our overall message. As a result, we are launching a contest to name the character that has been featured in recent marketing materials and advertisements, as well as the cool USB keys we gave away at ILTA. Ed Bergstrom Joins DocAuto as Channel Manager

Ed Bergstrom has joined DocAuto as channel manager. He previously served for six years at Autonomy iManage (formerly Interwoven) as a member of the legal channel management team. Ed has over thirteen years of software solution sales and channel management experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from University of Illinois at Chicago. Additionally, he spent ten years on active duty in the United States Navy and will retire from the US Naval Reserves in 2010.

DocAuto Webinar Series

We have begun a monthly series of webinars that will cover overview demonstrations of our core products, advanced concepts using WorkSpace Manager, and matter-centric and e-mail management topics. These webinars are being recorded and are available for viewing on our website, usually within a few days after each webinar. The box on the left lists webinars that are scheduled in the near future. Click on each link for more information and registration. Be sure to check our website periodically for new webinar listings as the topics will often change from month to month. We hope you can join us for one or more of these informative webinars.

New Lower Tier Primera Pricing Now Available for DocAuto Solutions

DocAuto is excited to announce that, effective immediately, we now offer lower tier Primera pricing on DocAuto solutions to all WorkSite customers and prospects with less than 100 users. DocAuto Primera Pricing is now offered in 25-user increments in organizations with fewer than 100 users. We believe that this new pricing structure for DocAuto solutions will be very beneficial to smaller firms and legal departments. Smaller organizations often do not have the staffing resources like larger organizations and rely heavily on the expertise of consultants and the functionality of automation tools. Product Updates

WorkSpace Manager 1.6.26

Many updates and enhancements have been added to WorkSpace Manager over the last several months, including installation changes to support WorkSite 8.5. Additionally, a very helpful new feature has been added that provides the ability to edit values that have been added to the many "configuration tables" throughout the program, which should make the application much easier to use. For instance, when editing the WorkSpace properties in a template, select the values that have already been added to tables for Profile Values and the values will populate in the fields above, making them much easier to edit and update. This functionality now exists throughout WorkSpace Manager, and will be added to all of our other products as well.

WorkSpace Manager Installation Reminder

Note that we no longer include the iManAdmin.dll in the WorkSpace Manager installation. If you will be using WorkSpace Manager to add values to your WorkSite lookup tables, ensure that you have the correct version of the WorkSite Admin tools for your WorkSite Server version installed and registered on the machine where you are running WorkSpace Manager.

Tips & Tricks: Create Subfolders with WorkSite Exporter

Create Subfolders for Author, Class, or other document type information by adding these fields within the WorkSite Exporter File Name data separated by a backslash:

WorkSite Exporter

This will create new subfolders under the exported folder paths using the metadata from the documents being exported to create additional subfolder trees that do not exist in WorkSite.
