E-Mail Lifecycle Management Using DocAuto's OutiM Server
Date:
Friday, July 17, 2009
12:00 noon- 1:30 pm EST
|
Description:
E-mail lifecycle management has become a major pain point for most firms today. Overloaded Exchange servers, compliance, and records management issues make effectively managing e-mail a top priority for Information Technology departments.
OutiM Server supports multiple approaches to e-mail management, and integrates with and extends the functionality of other e-mail management systems. It supports Mailbox, Public Folder, and PST processing, and can automatically copy, move, or move and link any kind of Exchange content (messages, notes, tasks, contacts, calendar items, etc.) directly from filtered or non-filtered sources into dynamically-identified WorkSpaces or Folders in WorkSite.
OutiM Server provides the "fewest click" solution for users to make sure the messages they want to file are filed quickly and correctly, without tying up workstation resources. It can be used as an e-mail archiving product out of the box, leveraging WorkSite's native security, search, and single-instance storage capabilities.
Join us for this informative webinar in which we will discuss e-mail management needs and present new features in OutiM Server that will allow your firm to get its e-mail content under control, while minimizing the need for user involvement.

Casting Call for Speakers In conjunction with the ILTA Autonomy iManage Peer Group,
we organized a panel of speakers who gave a presentation on June 23, 2009 titled
Gaining Efficiency with Matter-Centricity. This webinar was very
well-received and well-attended as panelists from three law firms were able to share their experiences in rolling out matter-centricity at their respective firms.
Because of the overwhelming success of this webinar, we would like to invite our DocAuto clients to share their project experiences
using any of the DocAuto products. If you have a story to tell, please contact Lori Page Hall at
Lori@DocAuto.com.
The video from last month's webinar can be
viewed at the DocAuto website.

From the DocAuto Support Desk:
Word 2007 Security Patch Bug May Affect DocID
We have become aware of a recent security patch from Microsoft that may cause corrupt document variables in Word 2007 (KB969604). This could potentially affect our DocID product for Word 2007 only. We recommend not installing this patch. For more information, please contact Microsoft Support.
Support for WorkSite 8.5 with DocAuto Products
DocAuto has identified some issues with the WorkSite 8.5 General Availability release of DeskSite and
FileSite with some of our products. Since most of our products use client-side APIs, the version of the
WorkSite Server is irrelevant. WorkSpace Manager, for example, will work in a WorkSite 8.5 environment
with an 8.3 or earlier client installed on the workstation where WorkSpace Manager is installed.
Again, the
version of WorkSite Server is irrelevant, as is the version of DeskSite or FileSite being used by end-
users. Many of these issues cannot be addressed by DocAuto, but may be addressed by a hotfix or
service pack released by Autonomy in the near future. Please contact DocAuto
support if you have any
questions.
