Happy Holidays!
As many of you may be preparing to spend time with friends and family this holiday season, everyone at DocAuto would like to wish you Happy Holidays! We look forward to ringing in the New Year, and wish for a happy, healthy, and prosperous 2010 for all of our clients and partners. It is our goal in the coming year to continue to provide stellar products, support, and services. We will also be introducing some new products in early 2010 that will help to make WorkSite work even harder for you in your organization! Additionally, we are in the processing of migrating to SalesForce.com for our CRM system, which will allow us to provide even better customer service to our clients and partners, including a powerful self-service portal, with dynamically "suggested solutions" for common support questions, support issue tracking, and much more. The DocAuto Character Finally Has a Name!
As you may already know, we conducted a contest to name the character that has been appearing in some of our marketing materials, trade show booth, and the USB keys we gave away at ILTA. The name selected is ………… [drum roll] …………
Doc Otto! The winning submission was provided by Gary Berger, IT Director for Ogltree Deakins Law Firm, who will receive the
Flip UltraHD Camcorder. There were multiple submissions of
Doc Otto, so in order to be fair, we put the names into a hat of everyone who submitted
Doc Otto and Gary’s name was pulled. There were also submissions of variations of that name such as
Doc, Otto, Dr. Otto, etc. All the runners up will receive one of our 2GB USB keys in the shape of our newly named character,
Doc Otto. In all, we had sixty entries for our contest. We appreciate everyone who participated!

Our webinar schedule for the month of January has been posted on our website. Our monthly webinar series covers overview demonstrations of our core products, advanced concepts using WorkSpace Manager and OutiM Server, and matter-centric and e-mail management. WorkSpace Manager 1.6.31
This release and other recent releases include:

WorkSite Custom Lookup Values like Client and Matter may now
not only be added to WorkSite on-the-fly, but Description information in the WorkSite database may be updated on-the-fly using data from external data sources, such as your accounting system. This compliments the functionality that WorkSpace Manager has had for the last five years - to change the names and descriptive text of any structure in WorkSite.

WorkSpace Manager can now "Skip x Records" of the primary query’s recordset at the start of a job to make it easier to pick up where a stopped job left off. This can automatically reset after the job completes, to allow looping or automatic scheduled jobs to process all data on the next run.

We added "Check All Options" and "Uncheck All Options" buttons on the Updating Tab of the Template Properties dialog, the Default Template Properties tab, and the Updating subtab of the Global Options dialog to save our users a few clicks.

OutiM Server 3.0.28
This release includes new options for source folder filtering and processing - Find at specific level, Find at all levels, process or not process all subfolders (applies to both PST files and mailboxes), and more. Additional information on features and functionality can be found in the

Tips & Tricks: OutiM Server and Watchdog Server – Great Monitoring Combo
Did you know that you can use OutiM Server and Watchdog Server together to monitor suspicious activity in your firm? For instance, administrators may want to be notified when a specific user is exporting or e-mailing large numbers of documents. For users that exceed normal limits, their Sent Items can be copied to secure WorkSpaces for administrative monitoring.
